Reported risk: On certain motorcycles, if the vehicle is operated or stored in a wet environment, moisture could enter the trunk wiring harness connection. If moisture were to enter the wiring harness, it could cause an electrical short, which could result in the constant illumination of the brake light, even when the brakes are not applied. This would result in the following road users being unaware of the driver's intentions and could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will remove the affected wiring harness and replace it with an updated wiring harness that contains plugs in the connectors.
