Reported risk: On certain travel trailers, a 30 amp circuit breaker was incorrectly installed during manufacturing. Instead, a 15 amp circuit breaker should have been installed. With an incorrect amperage circuit breaker, the wiring of the breaker cannot manage the amp draw requirements, which could result in the wiring melting, and increase the risk of a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a new replacement 15 amp circuit breaker.
