Reported risk: On certain vehicles, the seat belt may bind within the seat belt guidance loop. If the seat belt were to bind, a slack in the seat belt may develop, which in the event of a crash, may not restrain the occupant as intended, and increase the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will remove the spacer disc in the seat belt guidance loop and add an additional sliding component to guide the belt.
Verify each fact at the issuing agency before acting. Recall scope, affected lots, and remediation instructions may be updated by the agency after our last sync.
