Reported risk: Certain school buses built on a Ford or GM chassis may fail to comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 220 – Rollover Protection. The downward vertical movement of the roof structure of the vehicle may be higher than the requirements of the standard, increasing the risk of injury in the event of a rollover. Correction: Dealers will add a reinforcement plate to the front structure to meet the requirements of the standard.
