Reported risk: On certain vehicles, the passenger-side driveshaft could fracture and separate. If this were to occur while the vehicle is being driven, it could result in a loss of motive power. If this were to occur while the vehicle is parked on an incline without the parking brake applied (even when the gear selector has been placed in the Park position), it could result in unintended vehicle movement. Both situations could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect the serial number on the right driveshaft and replace the driveshaft, as necessary, and align the front wheels.
