Reported risk: Certain motorcycles equipped with halogen headlights may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CVMSS) 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. The affected motorcycles may have inadvertently had E4 (European) halogen headlight assemblies installed, and as a result would not meet the photometric requirements of the standard. This could reduce vehicle conspicuity, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the headlight with a compliant one.
