Reported risk: On certain vehicles, the fuel tank cradle bolts could loosen and fail. If this occurs, the fuel cradle and fuel tank could drop to the ground, which could disable the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. This could also potentially result in a fuel leak. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will repair and shim the attachment points, and the hardware will be replaced.
