Reported risk: Certain motorcycles may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CVMSS) 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. The rear side reflex reflector mounted to the license plate bracket may be partially blocked by the exhaust silencer, which would result in the reflectors to not meet the photometric requirements of the standard. This could reduce vehicle conspicuity to following road users, and could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the license plate bracket which has side reflectors that are compliant with the standard.
