Reported risk: Certain tires may have been incorrectly manufactured. This could cause the tread to delaminate/chunk, which would result in tire noise and/or ride vibration. If the tires are operated in this condition for an extended period of time it could lead to tire failure, which could increase the risk of loss of vehicle control and/or a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace affected tires with similar tires that do not contain the defect. Note: Affected tires have a production date codes of "3415” “3515” “4015” “4115” “0516” “1116" on the sidewall of the tire. Note: This is an expansion of recall 2016-477.
