Reported risk: On certain motorcycles, the wiring for the hazard warning lamps may become damaged during normal steering. This could cause the hazard lamps to not function, which would result in not being able to clearly signal a stopped, disabled or slowly moving vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will extend the wiring length by installing a replacement electrical block connector and fly lead onto the right-hand switch cube sub-harness. Note: Turn signal function would not be affected by this condition.
