Reported risk: On certain travel trailers manufactured with a MorRyde 9000LB axle with Kodiak disc brakes, the 2 caliper bolts that attach the caliper to the housing may have been installed improperly, allowing for the bolts to become loose and back out. This could cause the brake pads to become loose and lead to reduced braking effectiveness, which could affect vehicle handling and would increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the caliper bolts and sleeves, ensure the bolts are properly torqued, and add Loctite.
