Reported risk: On certain motorcycles, the steering damper bracket's mounting bolts may have been over torqued during assembly. This could cause the bolts to potentially break, which could result in the steering damper bracket to detach from the frame. If the bracket were to detach from the frame, it would affect steering control, which could result in a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the steering damper bracket mounting bolts. Note: In the interim, owners are advised to stop riding their motorcycles until the defect has been repaired.
