Reported risk: Certain convertible child car seats may not comply with the Motor Vehicle Restraint Systems and Booster Seats Safety Regulations (RSSR). The car seats in question may not meet the dynamic test requirements of the RSSRs when the bottom half of the infant insert provided with the product is not utilized in the rear-facing position. Correction: Registered consumers will be sent updated instruction labels to be affixed to their existing manual, and will be instructed to remove the sewn-on weight limit tag from the bottom half of the insert. Non-registered owners of affected car seats, or owners who have moved should contact RECARO Child Safety at 1-888-9RECARO (1-888-973-2276) or [email protected] to obtain revised labels and instructions or if they have any questions.
