Reported risk: Certain trucks equipped with tandem rear axles may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 121 - Air Brake Systems. The addition of the second axle, performed by second-stage manufacturer Cambridge Mack, may have affected compliance to the brake application and/or release timing requirements of the standard. This could result in reduced braking performance which could increase the risk of a crash. Correction: Dealers will modify the air brake system and verify timing application and release compliance. Note: This recall is superseded by recall 2016421. Please see recall 2016421 for more information.
