Reported risk: On certain travel trailers equipped with an optional 12 cubic foot refrigerator, the refrigerator exhaust vent was located in the wrong location, and an internal baffle may also not be properly located. An improperly located vent location may cause the refrigerator compartment to overheat which would trigger the high temperature sensor and result in the refrigerator shutting down. If the high temperature sensor on the refrigerator fails to turn the refrigerator off, it would increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a larger refrigerator exhaust vent and relocate an internal baffle, as necessary.
