Reported risk: On certain travel trailers, the wiring going from the battery box to the roof mount solar fixture may not have been connected to a 30 amp breaker during the manufacturing process. Under certain circumstances, it could cause the wires to melt and/or short to ground increasing the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will tie the unprotected circuit to an existing 30 amp breaker.
