Reported risk: On certain motorcycles, the rear brake line joint may have been improperly torqued during assembly. This could cause brake fluid to leak from the loose connection, resulting in a reduction or loss of rear brake pressure. This could increase stopping distances and affect vehicle control, which could result in crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will torque the rear brake line joint to specification and if necessary, fill the rear brake reservoir.
