Reported risk: On certain fire trucks, the governor/throttle control of the fire pump may have been configured with an incorrect firmware during the manufacturing process. Under certain circumstances, this could cause an unexpected pressure surge to the fire hose, increasing the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: The manufacturer will provide a firmware update to correct the defect.
