Reported risk: On certain motorhomes, the emergency brake cable and pedal may not have been properly reinstalled after chassis modifications were done. As a result, the park brake system may not properly hold the vehicle even with the park brake pedal fully depressed. This could also cause the park brake system to remain partially engaged when the park brake pedal is released causing the brake shoes to drag on the drum and potentially overheat the brakes. These issues would increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the parking brake foot pedal assembly.
