Reported risk: On certain motorcycles, the software which controls the engine fuel management system within the Engine Control Unit (ECU) could contain a defect. This could cause the motorcycle to unexpectedly stall during the process of coming to or taking off from a complete stop using the clutch, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the ECU with a reprogrammed ECU to correct the software defect.
