Reported risk: On certain vehicles, a defect in the front steering knuckle carrier could allow the knuckle carrier to break under normal loading conditions. This could cause a wheel to separate from the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Vehicles will be inspected to determine if they are fitted with affected steering knuckle carriers. Those found to be of a particular production date will be replaced.
