Reported risk: On certain vehicles equipped with 9-speed automatic transmissions, the PARK pawl may not properly engage. If the parking pawl fails to engage and the driver does not use the parking brake, the vehicle may roll away after the brake pedal is released, which could result in a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the transmission and repair if necessary.
