Reported risk: On certain ATVs, lack of fuel tank venting could cause pressure to increase inside the fuel tank, and also allow the fuel temperature to increase. This could cause the fuel tank to rupture, or cause fuel to be sprayed from the tank when the cap is removed, increasing the risk of fire or potentially causing burns due to fuel temperature. These issues could result in injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a vented fuel cap.
