Reported risk: On certain vehicles, bolts that hold the brake caliper to the backing plate may not have been tightened to specification, and could allow the brake caliper to separate from the backing plate. This would disable braking at the affected wheel, which could cause the vehicle to pull to one side during braking, and also increase stopping distances, which could result in a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect bolts and repair as required.
