Reported risk: On certain vehicles, the clearance lights may not have been adequately sealed at time of manufacture, allowing water ingress. This could cause an electrical short, potentially resulting in a fire, and cause the lights to fail, decreasing vehicle conspicuity. These issues could increase the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the affected lights and install an inline fuse.
