Reported risk: On certain motorcycles, the piston rod within the rear shock absorber can break without warning. If this were to occur while in motion, the motorcycle would lose stability, possibly resulting in a loss of vehicle control and a crash causing personal injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the rear shock and spring strut assembly.
