Reported risk: On certain flatbed trailers, J-hook cargo restraints storage brackets on each side of the trailer may break and detach from the trailer. This could lead to the bracket(s) and/or cargo restraint plates stored on the bracket(s) being run over by the trailer or other vehicles. This could result in a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage, and pose a hazard to other road users. Correction: Dealers will replace the J-hook bracket with a newly designed one.
