Reported risk: On certain vehicles, the accelerator pedal may stick in the wide open position if the driver applies an angled downward force on the pedal. A stuck accelerator pedal could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Note: As vehicles are equipped with brake override technology, depressing the brake pedal would return the engine to idle. Correction: Dealers will install a revised pedal stopper.
