Reported risk: The stop/turn/tail lights used on certain vehicles may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. The plastic lamp housing may shrink, causing the light to fall out of the light retention ring . In this situation, the light would no longer comply with the mounting requirements of CMVSS 108 and visibility to other motorists would be affected. This could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace affected lights.
