Reported risk: On certain trucks, the battery cables were fastened to the remote battery disconnect switch using incorrect hardware. In addition, the cables may be prone to chafing and vibration. Both issues could lead to electrical arcing, which could result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will relocate the remote battery disconnect switch module.
