Reported risk: On certain horizontal grinder units equipped with a DT6 dolly transport system, the trailer king pin may not have been installed correctly during the vehicle assembly process. This could cause the fifth wheel hitch assembly and/or the trailer king pin to wear, which could allow the trailer to separate from the towing vehicle, possibly striking another vehicle, a stationary object, or a bystander, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the king pin.
