Reported risk: On certain buses, the instrument panel may fail to display the "Check Engine" or "Stop Engine" indicator lamps. As a result, the engine may enter de-rate or shutdown mode without giving the operator prior indication of a problem, or the chance to use the "Stop Engine Override" function to move the vehicle to a safe location.
