Reported risk: On certain vehicles converted for mobility-impaired persons, two fuel line connectors (made of non-conductive resin) may have been inadvertently installed during the vehicle conversion process. Connectors that are unable to dissipate static electricity build-up in the fuel system may cause a spark discharge, which could result in a vehicle fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will install a fuel line retrofit kit.
