Reported risk: On certain vehicles equipped with a diesel engine, the fuel filter assembly may develop a leak from the fuel heater o-ring seal. Diesel fuel spilt on the roadway could endanger other road users by making the roadway unexpectedly slippery. This could ultimately result in a vehicle crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the diesel fuel filter assembly.
