Reported risk: On certain motorcycles, the front brake caliper bracket may experience permanent deformation when subjected to high braking loads. This could allow misalignment of the front brake pads with respect to the front brake rotor, which could cause a reduction in front braking efficiency, increased stopping distances, and possibly result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the front brake caliper bracket with an updated version. The front brake pads will also be replaced and, if the front brake fluid shows signs of overheating, it will be replaced and the system flushed.
