Reported risk: On certain fifth wheel trailers, the electrical transfer switch may have been wired incorrectly during vehicle assembly. This could allow 220 volt current (instead of 110 volt) through the trailer's electrical system. This voltage increase could lead to overheating of the electrical system, which could result in a vehicle fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, correct the transfer switch installation.
