Reported risk: On certain trucks, rear air suspension components may have been assembled using non-locking fasteners. During vehicle operation, these non-locking fasteners may loosen and fall off. This could allow rear air suspension components to separate from the vehicle, which could cause a loss of vehicle control and a crash. In addition, the errant suspension components could strike a vehicle, property, or a bystander. Both could result in property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace rear air suspension hardware with self-locking type fasteners.
