Reported risk: On certain travel trailers, the bottom leaf of the leaf springs may rotate out of position and contact a tire. This could cause the tire to burst without warning, which could lead to a loss of vehicle control and a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will install two square "U" bolts and a retaining plate (that will be centered on the spring center bolt) to restrain the lower spring leaf.
