Reported risk: On certain vehicles, the battery switch positive electrical post may come in contact with the driver seat base reinforcement. If this happens, a short circuit may start a fire without warning. Correction: The battery switch post will be inspected for contact with the driver seat base reinforcement. If contact is found, the electrical harnesses will be inspected for heat damage and will be replaced if needed. In addition the battery switch mounting plate will be replaced.
