Reported risk: On certain trucks, the bottom track that attaches to the arms used to open and close the window may de-bond, resulting in the glass coming loose at the bottom. If this occurs and is left unresolved, the upper window hinges may fail and allow the glass to fall out of the window frame. A window which falls from the vehicle may blow into the air, presenting a risk of hitting other vehicles, a stationary object, or bystanders, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the window assembly.
