Reported risk: Certain buses fail to comply with the requirements of CMVSS 207 - Anchorage of Seats, and CMVSS 210 - Seat Belt Anchorages. The location of some bolts used for the anchorage of the fold-away seats are improper. In the event of a crash, the seat may not restrain the occupant as intended, which could result in personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will install longer seat anchor bolts and newly designed washer plates.
