Reported risk: Certain motorhomes fail to comply with the requirements of CMVSS 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. The spare tire assembly impedes full visibility of the left taillight. An obstructed turn signal and stop lamp could leave following road users unaware of the driver's intentions, increasing the risk of a crash causing personal injury or death.
