Reported risk: Certain vehicles may have inadequate windshield adhesive bonding as primer failed to be applied by the automated glazing robot during vehicle assembly. This omission may result in a windshield bond that does not meet the retention requirements of CMVSS 212. As a result, the windshield may not be retained during a vehicle crash, which could increase the risk of personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, remove the windshield and re-install it correctly.
