Reported risk: On certain vehicles, the Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) G-sensor may have been incorrectly installed during vehicle assembly. This could affect vehicle handling characteristics during hard braking, sudden turns or other quick manoeuvres, causing the vehicle to react in an unexpected manner or result in unstable handling. Consequently, the driver could lose control of the vehicle and a crash could occur, causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, reinstall the VDC G-sensor.
