Reported risk: Certain motorhomes fail to comply with the requirements of CMVSS 108 - Lamps, Reflective Devices and Associated Equipment. The side marker lights in the headlight and the taillight assemblies do not meet the minimum photometric value at 45 degrees as specified in the Standard. Reduced visibility during hours of darkness could result in a vehicle crash. Correction: Dealers will install marker lamps on the side of each motorhome as close as reasonable to the front and rear corners and wired into the park light system.
