The incorrect fasteners may not provide adequate clamping force, potentially resulting in reduced brake effectiveness. Extended stopping distances may result in a vehicle crash causing injury or death. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if incorrect bolts are found, will check for possible additional damage, and repair as required.
