Reported risk: Certain vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of CMVSS 108 - Lighting Systems. Certain required exterior lights were not installed during vehicle assembly. The front side marker lights were omitted from the Surf Side models and the rear side marker lamps from the Dolphin & Dolphin LX models. This may render the vehicle less visible to other motorists and pedestrians during hours of darkness, possibly resulting in a vehicle crash with injury or death. Correction: Dealers will install the missing side marker lamps.
