Reported risk: On certain snowmobiles, the clevis-type pins used to prevent the steering idler arm nuts from falling off could dislodge. Without these clevis pins in place, the idler arm nuts could fall off if they become loose. If both nuts fall off, steering components could come apart, resulting in loss of control and a vehicle crash with injury or death. Correction: Dealers will replace the steering idler arm nuts and the clevis-type pins.
