Reported risk: On certain travel trailers, the Federal Identification Tag and the Tire & Loading Information Label do not contain the correct Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) and Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR). The labels incorrectly indicate a GVWR of 7600 lbs instead of 8200 lbs and GAWR of 3500 lbs instead of 4400 lbs. Also, the labels indicate tire size 205/75D14C with a maximum inflation pressure of 50 psi instead of 225/75D15D with a maximum pressure of 65 psi. Under inflating a tire could lead to increased risk of tire failure, which could result in a vehicle crash with injury or death. Correction: Dealers will install updated labels.
