Reported risk: On certain vehicles, incorrect airbag passenger sensing system calibration could cause the right front airbag to deploy when not intended. This system is designed to turn the right front airbag off when a child occupies that seating position. If the passenger sensing system misclassifies a child or child restraint seat as an adult, the frontal airbag would deploy in a crash and the child could be killed or seriously injured by the airbag. Correction: Dealers will replace the passenger sensing system.
